High Accuracy Split Core Current Transformers are specially designed to facilitate installation in new or existing networks. They can be installed without opening any cables or busbar circuits. The connection of a conventional CT usually requires interruption of the primary side current so that the cable or bus bar passes through the transformer core to connect this type of cable to the main terminal.
