Transformer and system connection

A transformer is a special type of transformer whose basic structure is the same as that of a transformer and operates on the principle of a transformer. The connection between the primary and secondary windings and the system is shown in Figure 4-1.

The primary winding of the voltage transformer is connected to the grid, and the secondary winding is connected in parallel with the measuring instrument or the relay voltage coil. A1 has the same name as a2, and X1 has the same name as x2.

The primary winding of the current transformer is connected in series with the grid (in series with the branch load) and the secondary winding is connected in series with the current coil of the measuring instrument or relay. L1 has the same name as K1, and L2 has the same name as K2. The operation of the power meter and the protection relay and the automatic adjustment of the excitation device are related to the phase of the input voltage and current.www.ctsensorducer.com
