Precision current transformer safe power supply system and matching requirements

- Jan 27, 2019-

The precision current transformer is divided into overload protection current transformer, differential protection current transformer and ground protection current transformer (zero sequence current transformer) during use. The protection current transformer mainly cooperates with the relay device and occurs in the line. When a fault such as a short circuit overload occurs, a signal is provided to the relay device to cut off the fault circuit to protect the safety of the power supply system.

The precision current transformer is completely different. When it is used, it only starts working effectively when the current is several times higher than the normal current. The main requirements of the protection transformer are: 1. The insulation is reliable, 2. The accuracy is large enough. Value factor, 3. sufficient thermal stability and dynamic stability.

The precision current transformer can meet the requirements of the accurate level when the rated load is small. The maximum primary current is called the rated accuracy limit primary current. The accuracy limit factor is the rated accuracy limit of the primary current to the rated primary current ratio. When the primary current is large enough, the iron core will not saturate to reflect the primary current. The accuracy limit coefficient indicates this characteristic.www.ctsensorducer.com
