The causes and solutions of the following six faults in current transformers
1. When it is found that the current transformer has a secondary open circuit, it is necessary to distinguish the occurrence point of the fault, and the different phases of the switch, which will affect the entire protection, and report and schedule the situation, which may occur. The situation of misoperation is directly lifted;
2.It is best to reduce the load current once as much as possible. If the damage of the current transformer is serious, the load should be transferred and directly powered off for processing and inspection;
3.On the nearest test terminal, the current transformer is subjected to a secondary short circuit, and then the open circuit point is checked, and a relatively short wiring is used;
4. If there is a spark in the process of short circuit, it means that the short circuit is effective, and also indicates that the fault point is in the circuit of the short contact point;
5. Conversely, if there is no spark in the short circuit process, it means that the short circuit has no effect, and the fault point should not be in the loop;
6. Transfer the secondary short-circuit operation of the current transformer. It is best to perform power failure and check. When the current transformer is in secondary switch, it must use insulated tools with good insulation effect. Related tools such as gloves.
